We were originally commissioned in 2008 for an extension that was completed in 10 weeks. 2 weeks early and under budget.
We were asked to return many years later to carry out further alterations which included internal structural alterations, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, purpose designed fitted wardrobes, a garden cabin and two patios. The inspiration for this came from the minimalist artist Donald Judd.
Siberian Larch Cladding is finished with Swedish Moosfarg breathable paint. A green sedum roof helps moderate. The interior including the kitchen units are completely clad with birch faced plywood treated with Osmo Oil, all concealing the normal kitchen necessities. This natural material gives an opaque white tint and can even be applied to the worktop.
